Sunday morning bliss.
She puckers up for a kiss.
Spring blooms bright with love.
Leprechauns are sneaky ones.
We set some traps.
But didn’t catch one.
My pup Tink’s now mighty blue.
It seems her three wishes won’t come true.
Though still there is that pot of gold.
I told Tink, “Hey, you’re quite bold.
Rainbows will guide you in this quest.
But always remember, love is best.”
Warmth is what dogs crave.
Our love too prevents the blues.
Winter’s just too long.
Friends come in all shapes.
Sizes too, their love is true.
All it takes is heart.
Old dogs crave support.
New found friends can help them mend.
Love does conquer all.
Chis can be quite chic.
Yet grand lives aren’t what they seek.
Love’s what keeps them warm.
Open up those eyes.
Let it be, there’s much to see.
Life’s still filled with love.
