It’s a gray and gloomy morning.
I awoke bemoaning the fact that so many crimson and gold leaves have already fallen or blown away.
Can winter be far behind I wondered?
I like to think that I always try to look up, and keep my attitude going the same direction.
As I ran errands at the local bookstore, bakery, and butcher’s shop, I found myself angrily kicking the leaves at my feet on the sidewalk.
And then I stopped, and smiled as I continued to look down.
Those beautiful leaves were still with me after all.
And they were looking even more stunning against the gray.
This art display was a gentle reminder that beauty always surrounds me.
Even if it is down at my feet.
It looks like I may have crossed another bridge in my attitude.
